Purist, the solo project of Brazil's Leonardo Tozzi, has been a vibrant part of the psychedelic music scene since 2002. Initially gaining international acclaim with his progressive project “Soulearth,” Leonardo made a name for himself, releasing tracks on various labels and performing at key festivals across Brazil. After taking a reflective break, he returned with renewed vigor, shifting his musical focus towards deeper, nocturnal sounds aimed at soul healing through trance. This evolution in his sound, enriched by his shamanic experiences, led him to develop a unique style he calls “Alien Forest.” With exciting collaborations and releases under labels like Mosaico Records and Catalyst Records, Leonardo has recently joined Sangoma Records, marking a new chapter in his journey of psychedelic exploration.
